Hello,

Note from Trenise:

Some of you know that on December 18, 2010 my mother suffered a double

brain aneurysm that left her paralyzed on her right side. Since her

release from the hospital on Feb 10, I have been her primary

caregiver. This is why I closed the Duluth location. Taking care of

my mother, 2 children and running a bakery has been taking a toll on

my own health. Against my doctor’s wishes I have continued to keep my

hectic work schedule. I now realized that in order to continue to

give my customers the best customer service that they are used to and

the quality of cake that made us such a Hit, I will need to take a few

weeks off to rest. I will not be taking any orders at all until Feb

1, 2012. Our website, voicemail and e-mail will reflect the new order

dates.

Natalie has worked with me for over a year. Natalie is a former

Wilton cake instructor with years of cake decorating experience.

Natalie has all of my recipes and is fully capable of creating

wonderful cakes. Please feel free to call her and let her know that

Ordering/Info

Just get in contact with us through our Pastry Order Form or send an email to us at help@cakeintheboxbakery.com This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call us at 678-557-0083.   Some of the information we’ll need from you includes:

  • The date of the event
  • The location of the event
  • How many people you expect to serve
  • The best phone number we can contact you at
  • Your email address
  • What flavors you are interested in
  • What kind of cake are you ordering (birthday, wedding, party, cupcakes, allergy free, etc)
  • What kind of cake design you are interested in.

We can then discuss your order and/or set an appointment.

Tuesday: 10Am – 5Pm
Wednesday through Friday 10AM – 5PM
Saturday 9AM – 2PM
Sunday -  Monday Closed

Payment Policy

A 50% deposit is due on all wedding orders.  Payment must be made the day the order is placed.  All deposits are non-refundable four weeks prior to the event and are subject to a 25% service charge.  Your order is only confirmed after we receive receive the deposit and a signed contract.

Traditional Specialty and 3D cakes must be paid in full at time of ordering.

Payments can be made via cash or credit card.  Rush orders with less than a 3 days notice may require an additional fee.

Absolutely no refund if order is canceled within 14 days before the scheduled event.  50% Refund if order canceled within 4 weeks of scheduled event.  (This does not apply to wedding cakes. Contact us directly if you need to change or cancel your wedding cake order)

Visitation Rights

Customers are welcome to stop by and order cakes.  However, customers may not enter the kitchen area or watch the designers create cakes.

Delivery of Cakes

We don’t ship the cakes by mail but we do deliver them in the Metro Atlanta Area.    We charge a delivery fee based on the distance of the delivery.  You can come pick the cakes up yourself but we don’t necessarily recommend that for wedding cakes.  Once the cakes leave our possession, we are not responsible for any “oopsies” or “uh-ohs”.

Please note that we are not a retail bakery.  All of our cakes are made to order.
