We at Cake in the Box work hard to prevent cross contamination. However, the only guarantee that we can offer is that we are 100% Nut Free Facility. We do use eggs, wheat, soy and milk, and chocolate in some of our products. Although we work hard to eliminate cross contamination, we can not guarantee that cross contamination will not happen. We have create as safe of an environment as we can. Recommended water temperature is 120 degrees, we use 140 degrees. We have 3 separate work stations. One for Milk and Egg free cakes, another for gluten free cupcakes and the last for traditional cakes. We have purchased 3 different mixers that are 3 different models so that the parts are not interchangeable. We have tried to make our bakery as safe as possible for those with or without food allergies.
