Cake in the Box Opening in Duluth on January 23rd, 2010
Duluth, GA — Food allergies are becoming more prevalent in the US population as approximately 12 millions Americans suffer from them. This has become a growing concern both in homes and at schools. Currently, the Metro Atlanta area does not have any cake bakeries that support people with food allergies which means many kids have to go without the enjoyment of birthday cakes or other special treats. That is why Cake in the Box is opening in Duluth, GA on Saturday January 23rd, 2010.
The opening of Cake in the Box in Metro Atlanta provides local residents the assurance that their allergy concerns are catered to for their special occasions. It will also allow some children the joy of having a birthday cake for the first time since their parents won’t have to worry about the ingredients.
Cake in the Box creates delicious cakes and cupcakes for people with or without special dietary needs due to allergies for all occasions including birthdays, weddings, engagements, or other special events.

Trenise emailed me about how her heart breaks when she cannot let her kids have special treats because the store or restaurant has been contaminated with nuts, and not properly cleaned. She hated to see her children feeling left out because of their allergies. So, about her bakery, she says:
“Children deserve a chance to have a special birthday and a bride deserves a beautiful wedding cake that is safe for her to eat if she has food allergies. I wanted to make a safe bakery for those that are so often left out. People like my children, people like you.”
