Starting on June 1st, Cake in the Box will be at the Norcross Whistle Stop Farmer’s Market every Tuesday through October. We will be selling our gluten-free and allergy free cupcakes and cakes as well as taking orders for cakes.
The farmer’s market is located in historic Downtown Norcross next to Thrasher Park and will be open from 4PM to 8PM. Cake in the Box will be closed on Tuesdays for the time being. However, we will still take phone calls for orders and questions.

Here’s a cute little Aladdin style castle we created for a little girl’s birthday party. The tower tops are constructed with modeling chocolate along with the little prince and princess and the elephant.

We had a family call and ask about a cake with a lizard sitting on top for their daughter who loves lizards. We happily obliged with a two-tier round cake with a lizard made out of modeling chocolate on the top.

This two tier lemon and vanilla cake was done for a couple’s 50th wedding anniversary. The magnolias are custom made out of gumpaste and highlighted in gold.

Here is a custom made purse and shoes cake combo. The purse is decorated in fondant and the shoes are made out of gumpaste.
We received a copy of the local Gwinnett Herald on our door step this morning with an article about Cake in the Box. Thank you Gwinnett Herald and NorthFulton.com!
DULUTH – Cake in the Box opened as Metro Atlanta’s first allergy-free cake bakery, according to its owners. Food allergies are becoming more prevalent in the United States as approximately 12 millions Americans suffer from them.
On top of our grand opening this past Saturday, I was able to sit down with Deanna Allen from the Gwinnett Daily Post for an article about why I started Cake in the Box.
It was an exciting interview and I was still a bit nervous. Thank you Deanna and GDP for stopping by!

During a trip to the Appalachian town of Helen last year, Trenise Grill’s two children asked for candy apples they saw in one of the shops there. After stopping to watch an employee roll an apple in the bright red candy coating, the Norcross resident noticed a problem: nuts on the rolling board near the coating.
Cake in the Box is no longer providing cakes for Zamba Funland as of Jan 24. If you receive a cake from Zamba, please know that is is not one of ours.
